METHOD STATEMENT FOR INSTALLATION PUDDLE FLANGE

1. Purpose

   The purpose of this method statement is to describe methodology for INSTALLATION OF PUDDLE FLANGE.

2. Scope of Works

   This method statement is described the procedure for installation of puddle flange conforms to approved materials and shop drawings.

3. Protection and Safety Equipment

   • Safety Helmet, Safety Shoes, Safety Vests
   • Welding Gloves, Welding Masks
   • Safety Belts, Safety Goggles
   • Fire Extinguisher
   • Caution Tape
   • Traffic Control Cones

PROCEDURE FOR INSTALLATION OF SERVICE

–  Installation of all pipe sleeves shall be as per approved
–  Ensure all work areas are released by the  Contractor, before proceeding with the actual installation works.
–  All such works shall require that the levels be re-checked on completion.

–  Prior to further installation, all required pipe sleeves passing through concrete/brick walls or slab shall be inspected.
– Service pipeline size shall be smaller than pipe sleeve size.
